The episode where it's all mad because some drug dealers trap Brendan's son in the back of a van with an unpinned grenade, and then at the end Brendan comes home and he's talking at Lynsey who's lying on the couch and in the last like 5 seconds of the show he realises she's been strangle murdered by Browning is honestly one of my favourite episodes of a TV show of all time

I haven't seen it in a while but there were a few years there where it was genuinely a really entertaining show

Speaking of based characters. I want him to become a regular character, he's got family in the show and pops up a lot since there's a murder/kidnapping seemingly every other week but he's not a proper recurring character. Though I kind of really like he's always on the phone to his wife who we never see, if we ever see her I've got a feeling she'll be young and good looking, the opposite of what they're making her sound like.
