DC characters are archetypes that usually represent the struggle of leaening how to use amazing powers in a good, moral way for the greater good of humanity (Wonder Woman, Superman) or the futile struggle of the perpetual fighting against an invincible evil (Batman fixing Gotham, all "cosmic" DC against Darkseid, the Antimonitor, etc). Those are all elevated purposes and complex thoughts about power that only white, straight men deal with in real life.
