why do I even try
I get the Kurosawa blu-ray collection and put on blood throne. I explain its Macbeth in nip land so they can follow along even with out paying attention.
still through the whole movie.
>who's that
>is that the witch
>ha-ha look what he's wearing
>I'm glad that music stopped
>it's foggy there
>wow over acting much
>that's a big hat
>is it nearly done yet
>is this backwards
>who's that
>why is everyone shouting
>how did we get here
>is he the bad guy
>there's a head in that bag
*looks at phone for 10 minuets
>what did I miss
>why aren't they doing anything
>I hate reading subtitles
>shouts random Macbeth quote that as nothing to do with the dramatic scene currently unfolding
>lol who did her eye-brows
I just wanted to show them a good movie is that so fucking hard

Don't even bother. I only watch kino by myself or with my brother, who's actually into movies (e.g., he watches TCM constantly and reads books about cinema). When I am with other people I just put on the sort of garbage that I "watch" while cleaning my house or playing video games.

no point in trying
if you do want to try though you need to go with toe in the water films like the lobster along with current oscar nominees before you get into any actual kino

I normaly do just put on watchable "flicks" but I occasionaly delude my self into thinking this will be the one they just sit and watch but it never is
