WoT is made by Sony.
It's going to be too shitty to attract a big following.
Probably canceled after one season.
I don't expect to much noise about it.
Witcher will generate more outrage by /v/ and slavs, after it inevitably gets butchered by Netflix.

WoT will flop. So will Witcher. I pray Black Company never sees the light of day, those books are too dear to me. Although of the bunch it's got the strongest source material BY FAR.

Next book-to-tv hit will be sci-fi. Old Man's War or something like that.

I'd like to see someone do this little series that I really like, the Powder Mage trilogy, which is sort of a French Revolutionary Wars/Napoleonic-era setting with traditional sorcerers (called Privileged) and powder mages, who can ignite gunpowder and manipulate bullets/explosions with their minds.

Well, people keep praising The Kingkiller Chronicle and that's being made into a film.
I think it's terribly overrated, but it's popular among fantasy fans and that might result in hype spreading to normies, making this a film that /tv/ can't ignore.

Book of the North could be adapted easily enough. Would probably have to cut out the windwales and stone men due to not having a fuck you budget like GoT
