why do people get all gay when shit isn't exactly how it was in the source material?
what's wrong with changing shit up? if the adaptation is still a quality piece of media and still works with the changes then what's the big deal?
why not just go back to the source material if you want it exact

It's mostly retards and underage kids that use that kind of thinking.
The reason for it is as follows:
They dislike X.
They don't exactly know why they dislike X, but know they dislike it.
They then compare it to the source material and look back and notice it's different!
Therefore, because it is different = it is bad.
Essentially they use that as an excuse to justify their opinion about something rather than that being the reason for their opinion.
