I don't understand people who think his movies are "style over substance" when the ideas and the story are simply in the images more than in the script/dialogues. That's called mise-en-scène, and that's basically what the seventh art is.
DC films are fucking shit

How many other more pretentious words can you fit in one sentence?
>>86933271
That's a three-syllable word for any idea too big for little minds.
Have you seen a single interview with Zack Snyder? He simply does things because "they will look cool". He cares about costume designs a lot more than he does about character motivations.

After this summer's success I think this movie will be subtitled "Wonder Woman and the Justice League". The current reshoots are to add more Gal.

Five stages of Brainlet Grief
1. The movie confuses them, instead of admitting they had trouble following a superhero film, they blame the film
>Dude it's so stupid and meaningless lmao Granny's Peach Tea WTF so random so shit
2. When told the film explores a lot of relevant themes, they react with smug denial
>Kek you Snyderfags are delusional for thinking it's that deep, look at Zack Snyder he has big muscles how can he be smart!!!
3. They are shown meaningful screenshots from the film which involve uses of both symbolism and allusion. They cannot tell the difference between the two. At this point they have moved the goalposts, it is no longer meaningless, it just isn't THAT deep.
>Dude it's not subtle or complex like woah Superman is Jesus that's seriously it? So what!
4. Other scholars put forth their theses, going into more depth, putting the imagery into a grander context to show that no, the film is not saying Superman is Jesus, it is just one note in an opera about lost souls projecting their fears and desires onto powerful people in a postmodern society. BTFO, butthurt, embarrassed that their own reading was so shallow, they blame the author
>OK well if Snyder meant all that, he could've gotten the message across more clearly, did he really expect most people to get that?!
5. Self-reflection and Acceptance
>T-t-teach me DChads...

Have Christian symbolism does not make your movie deep, Zack.

>How many other more

Have Christian symbolism
Sny-deniers confirmed as brainlets and/or esl
>don't worry about blowing up this giant port in a major city
>its already an entire abandonded area for some reason
>a true villain puts his final evil creation out of harms way apparently

Batman shot at Doomsday so it would chase him to the port, he says this twice in the dialogue both before and after he arrives at the port, Retardo Montalban

Instantly fucking saved.
>>86934238
No, but using them along with other iconography from myth in the way he did, that makes it deep.
