Anyone else who genuinely liked the first season and still watches it, ironically?
i watch it unironically

What the fuck does ironically watching even mean?

The first season was great, second was okay.
Third season went the way of South Park where every episode tries to be Oscarbait rather than just try to get a laugh from its audience.

Wrong. It has been doing this all along. You just want on the wagon. Like all wagons, we will accept you.

To tell ya the truth, I'm an accidental contrarian when it comes to pop culture. I love a lot of shitty things genuinely, but I actually agree with you guys with Rick and Morty. I don't HATE it, but the last few episodes have made me hate the show a little more. I was half and half on the show altogether, some episodes I could watch over and over, others are just meh.
This is why I like Family Guy. Aside from Seth McFarlane's high school liberal agenda popping up every now and then, it doesn't try to be DEEP, PHILOSOPHICAL or WITTY, THOUGHT-PROVOKING SATIRE AHEAD OF ITS TIME like modern South Park, The Simpsons and other shows do. It knows it's a shitty show there to make money and give the Average Joe a laugh every now and then, and it embraces it.
