You could've teased her with some of the famous cliche melodramatic notebook lines so she get's slightly embarassed about it, then mention the Goose, tease her about him a bit and then you mention Drive as a film that you like that also starts the Goose in the main role and if she hasn't seen it you say that you have to see it together and boom you've got the first step into having a kino gf done.
