i think they didnt mention it because it gives away too much, and they want you to be on your toes thinking cersei could survive everything. i know its dumb she is clearly going to die before the series is over but show writers like to make audiences think the bad guys could win! authors dont treat their audiences as stupid and thus her death is prophecised because of course at some point she will die and its more interesting reading a book trying to figure out how and when that will happen not if, also adds some clarity to her characters mindset when she is the point of view character of a chapter.

however that said just because they didnt foreshadow her death with a prophecy in the show, id be shocked if she dies differently than however she does in the book, as in switch which character does it or something. I know the show is different than the books but they have to follow the main points of the ending, i actually think this season feels so off because they are trying to set up for a "close to the books" ending and they have gotten so far from where the books are that pulling characters back to where they should have gotten to more organicly the last few seasons had they followed the books has made this season feel odd. basically im hopeful next season will be closer to whatever the outline for the ending of the books is because they have known the ending and while the last few seasons they've been writing fanfic they will have at least a skeleton of an outline to adhere to for the final season.

Jaime makes the most sense to me as her killer, i hope thats how it goes down, i dont think any other character would be satisfying at all. the season 8 scripts are fake for so many reasons but the awful out of their clear story arch way most of the characters die including cersei is one of the major reasons i cannot accept it as real.

Normally in shots like this, we're trained to think we're seeing it from Sam's POV, but I think the WW was looking in another direction anyways. I'm guessing her consenting behavior was trimmed down too much out of the edit.

Sometimes director's cues tell the story (as in the cut from baby Jon to adult Jon in the last episode), but sometimes they flub it and that confuses the story a bit.
