the poster implies sigourney weaver is a ghostbuster when she is actually a perfectly harmless woman

They originally wanted Eddie Murphy but he backed out at the last minute so they got Ernie Hudson to fill the role but had to minimalize his scenes since they were so strapped for time. The poster work had already been done and they airbrushed Eddie out.

Backed out the last minute. Why would he do that? Also this means he already wore the dress when they did photography for the poster? I call BS. I don't buy this story. Got any evidence?
