I had a DVD of one of the Matrix sequels had a few alternate angles. It's a neat idea but doesn't work in practise because if the movie is engaging then you won't remember to try it.

Have even found a large-ish button for accessing the alternate angles, on several remotes I've had over the years.

Never once have I found that the button has a functional use on the DVD I'm watching

The only DVD I've ever seen that doesn't do this is Final Justice. You put in the disc, the movie starts playing immediately. when the movie is over, it stops. I unironically prefer that to any other movie-only release I've ever owned.
