As for the T-34, it's the second most mass produced tank in history after the T-55, there's literally hundreds of operational models across the world including in Russia and former Soviet satellite states.

Nevermind teh fact that I doubt it would cost more a few million to rebuild a replica from scratch, at least one that looks externally the same and can drive (doesn't have to have actual armour or a gun), and most blockbuster film budgets nowadays are in excess of 200mil+, so I doubt it would be an issue to build one.

Majority of Panzers 4 aren't operational, also there's only 1 single and only Tiger that actually rides. T-34's and Shermans are the least of your problem(sorry, Universal Carrier is the least of your problem since there are fucktons of those everywhere), but you have stuff like Panzers 3, M3 Lees, Matildas or T-70's which should be there, but find me one that runs.

Also manufacturing them from the scratch would cost more than average budget for a blockbuster, they became cheap eventually but you don't need 1000 tanks of one type for cinema needs(for such scale you can really use CGI and nobody will be able to tell), you need 10 different types of tanks, let's say 20 of each of them. That requires 10 different technological lines and saving on shit like using sheet metal instead of armor plates or finishing the entire interior of only few of those tanks is literally meaningless in comparison to the cost of setting the production up.

Now had some studio wanted to make entire series of movies with tanks playing the main role, it could've been done, but you aren't going to see long-term plans coming out of minds of their suits unless this was something that was proven to work for at least 5 years already(capeshit).

Also the existing Panzer 4s could easily be restored to somewhat operational mobility, just need a replacement of the interior engine and wheels so that it can be mobile, and that's pretty much all you need for a movie.

American losses were 300,000 dead for BOTH fronts, including the pacific. Ivan had 20 million dead on the eastern front alone.

I'll give you that the war wouldn't have been won without American supplies and resources; the lend lease program helped save the Soviets from a crushing defeat in 1942, otherwise they would have starved to death without the Ukraine and would have been forced to sue for peace. So yes, economically, America was vital for winning the war.

However, in terms of pure manpower and on-ground fighting, the Russians did all the work. 90% of German casualties were on the eastern front, the western front was a picnic compared to the East.

The americans only entered in the last minute in 1944 when the German Reich was already fatally weakened, and that was only to take as much land as they could before the end of the war so that Stalin wouldn't gobble up all of western europe along with eastern europe.

So the war would not have been won without American resources, but it also would not have been won without Russian manpower and blood and groundfighting. Discounting either is pointless, but I would say that the Russians had a bigger role to play simply for the fact they did most of the actual fighting.
