I had a theory; So in the end of the first Terminator, T-800 got crushed by a machine and the only remain is his arm and a chip, then Cyberdyne decided bribe the cops and take the arm and chip for research, thus Terminator series happened. Eventually, they end up losing the war against the human resistances.
So if T-800 killed Sarah before Kyle even impregnate her, wouldn't that arm and chip ever existed in the hands of Cyberdyne in the first place? Wouldn't that means that Judgement Day never happened if Arnold just killed Sarah in the bar? Wouldn't that drastically backfire this whole assassination plan?

Judgement day can not be avoided, all they managed to do at the end of T2 was dragging out Judgement day a bit further into the future.
but Skynet will happen at some point anyway.
