exactly. there's clearly a great dynamic/bond between the four of them, a clear open friendship. it'd be interesting to know what the real dynamic of there friendship is, but it's evidently very believable and honest.

and the fact is, in a time where sketch comedy is dying and sitcoms aren't having a great period, this is a classic tried tested formula that delivers.

I see what you mean, in the sense of pushing boundaries, and always trying to outdo each other in the heat of the moment.

The fact that they sometimes refuse challenges is key to the shows success, shows that they have some sort of moral boundaries and some challenges are too far for them. They aren't just trying to make money being dicks ala jackass.

But they are all good-hearted dudes who have held jobs in the real world, and it's not particularly edgy.

I do think however, that they could get in trouble with regards to some of the challenges they get when it comes to

I always cringe when they have to interact with a child without their parents around for a challenge.

For example, in the mall Q had to give a little kid a massage and get him to say thing you. So Q is like molesting this 9 year old boy's shoulders in front of a Victoria's Secret for a good like minute and a half.... That made me so uncomfortable...
