I'm watching Sicario right now on Amazon Prime™. What will I think about it? Oh my god all those nasty bodies in the wall! That chick shot a guy! Go FBI. THEN A BOMB WENT OFF? Now she's being asked questions in a glass room. cool.

what other good operator kino is out there? I found Sicario (first half) pretty damn good in that regard

What would your first instinct be upon coming face to vapour with a murderous ghost? If your reply comes close to "immediately open fire on the intangible being," then you might feel right at home with the trailer for Netflix's upcoming Spectral.

One of the best action movies in recent memory.
Looks gorgeous, and is heartpounding without relying on car chase after car chase.
The politics of the movie are also somewhat interesting: takes cynical view of the militarization of the drug war, yet paints a picture where it essentially seems inevitable

+1 this.
when they got back over the border, the chick flipped her lid and was like 'WTF ARE WE DOING WE JUST EXECUTED TWO CARS FULL OF BEANERS AND YOU'RE ACTING ALL COOL ABOUT IT' and it really drove home the constant tension and intensity that goes along with slow-burn paramilitary conflict of this nature, which is so embroiled both in poverty and legality.
