Why is there so many love triangles in the Marvel Netflix Universe? Why is literally almost every character in the entire universe linked to two or more people sexually?
What was the point of the Foggy + Karen thing if Karen would fall for Matt instead? What is the point of Karen + Matt if Matt is with Elektra? What was the point of Matt + Claire if Claire would end up with Luke? What was the point of Luke + Jessica if Jessica is a lesbian? What was the point of Danny + Joy if Joy would end up with Ward?

Everyone is bisexual and compatible. At any moment we can add a romantic arc into the series to act as a mcguffin for the characters emotional development ark.

Because in the comics universe the continuity has been running for so long that eventually everyone hooks up with everyone.
I mean -- superheroes all drawn to be beautifully perfect specimens, and they're usually all house-mates or something if they're on a team.
