I truly believe that it would be a waste to not have Idris Elba as Rorschach without mentioning that he undoubtly has the acting caliber to deliver a performance bar the source material his ethnic background would elevate Rorschach to levels never expected beforr.

I'll watch it but I don't appreciate the obsession with people wanting every story to be a TV series over a film. I don't think Snyder's cinematic take is embarrassing. If HBO was talking to adapt a comic they should do one that hasn't been done like Superior.

Embarassing? It's not perfect, but its nothing like as bad as people say. It has some great pieces, and some decent casting. Rorshach, Nightowl and the Comedian were terrific.

Only Malin Ackerman was really bad. And she always is.

I'd rather watch Watchmen than 90% of other comic book adaptations, including nearly every Marvel movie.

Damon Lindelof means it's irreparably fucked from the start. Why not get Akiva Goldsman involved too?
