Imagine how good this episode could have been if they had let Sapochnikino direct it. He could have pulled it off. Think about it:

>wights that actually come off as menacing
>actually conveying to the audience that they were stuck on that rock for 4 fucking days
>less benis quips
>A somewhat aesthetic takedown of the dragon
>an actual explanation for Benjen showing up last second (which is possible if you take Bran into account)

This had the potential to be a Hardhome-tier episode but they fucked it up big time. It's exactly the kind of thing Sapochnik does best.
