Do any Netflix originals deserve critical recognition? I'm not asking for recommendations.
No. They're all mediocre to bad. House of Cards had potential but they squandered it in S2.

Whenever I see that netflix logo I know it's gonna be horseshit.
Ozark is the only show from them that hasn't been completely terrible.
How does one explain the multiple Emmy nominations Netflix originals have accumulated? Other than the Emmys being shit.

Everything they make is awful, end your sub you'll be happier for it.

I thought Narcos and Peaky Blinders were pretty good, but nothing worth critical acclaim.
Netflix's aim seems to be to make flicks rather than kino. Rather, disposable but decently entertaining shit that'll age like milk and will be forgotten in a few years, but is easily made and consumed.
Art manufactured for consumers, rather than art for the sake of art/vision.
Narcos was really fucking good, everything else is either shit from the start or immediately turns to shit after season 1.
The Crown
The OA
