Hollywood will never make an anime adaptation set in Japan with japanese characters.
Let's take Naruto's case as an example. It would require at least ten or twenty actors that suit the following criteria:
- they're asian
- they look the part (they would have to be of any age between 15 and 30 depending on how they pull it off)
- they're fluent in japanese
- they can ACT

Not to mention the obvious big name actors required to pull the general audience in for a movie that, even considering Naruto's popularity, is still based on a niche product and has to make hundreds of millions for it to be even concieved, if even to cover the cgi expenses.
That was exactly the purpose of ScarJo in GITS, while Takeshi Kitano was needed to reassure the weebs that they knew which country created the source material (same shit with Ken Watanabe in Godzilla).

Now do you think that would be realistic?

Of all manga/anime to adapt, this is the one that works best in its original format.
One Piece is the other one that I can think off the top of my head, that should avoid live action. Yet nah, some Jap studio think they can do it.
