Also I agree with you. The first one was a (very successful) experiment, the third one was good but appealed to nostalgia a little too much.
The second one was the best.

Honestly, I always thought 2 was the worst. It just never clicked for me like 1 and 3 did.

It's the most rewatchable I'd say
