He literally was incapable of creating a joke. He was just fat and loud and Americans love fat and loud people so they worshiped him like a god

The man clearly had a keen eye for acting. Had been known to destroy himself for a shot or gag or scene without remorse. Everything he did was 100% and its known he wanted serious roles and its clear he couldve dominated them. However, the holywood cult of suoerficiality had already labelled him as the fat guy who falls down and he could NEVER be a leading man despite having the chops to dominate.
He took more embarassing roles all the time and eventually overdosed with a prostitute, apparently begging for his life. He was a devoted church goer and extremely giving. He really was too good for us.
Inb4 degenerate drug user.
I feel he could have really done some good dramatic roles. Like maybe we would have seen him in Breaking Bad were he still alive.

>idk what is really going on in this skit
>they're not being super funny
>ah ok, here comes Farley in slicked back hair and theres a coffee table in frame and several vases
>he's just gonna get burned by someone in the skit and then flop around
every farley skit or "joke"... yeah, he was genius

>wanted more serious roles
everyone knows this already but his casting as the original Shrek was for an entirely different movie than what we got with mike

Didn't ask for the feels, thanks, asshole. I grew up watching him as a child, always loved him and Swayze in everything, always tear up during that Chippendales skit.
