It was ok. Brie and Maron had good chemistry, and were genuinely funny at times, as was that dude who hired them. They didn't really have time to explore all the sidecharacters, wich was annoying, but it really didn't struggle with that heavy handed feminism you're accusing it of, allthough that plot with the woldmf-chick was annoying and felt contrived.
All in all I rank it 6/10, I might just check out season 2.
