Then why did they include her at all? If you're going to introduce an important character then you have to rap up their story. But if they're unimportant to the point where they show up once and then never again, just don't include her in the first place.

Bookfag here, there is strong evidence that she's a Targaryen that has longevity magic like Melisandre or her lover, the 'original' Three-Eyed Raven, Brynden Rivers. Seems she just wants to reestablish the Targaryen dynasty, not sure what her motivations are outside of genuinely helping Dany. Her name is Shiera Seastar.
