Without spoiling anything (and also because I haven't watched it in 4 years) - I found basically all of the individual character endings were weak and completely unsatisfying. I remember in particular that Masuka had some season long story arc that was unresolved and felt pointless. The episode would have been better (but still not good) without that final scene.

I could have written an essay about how much I hated that episode when it first came out, but frankly my memory is dogshit and I'd rather not remember that disappointment if I don't have to.

Oh of course. But one of my favorite things about Sirko was how he did not do mind games or anything "clever" like literally every other villain in the show. When he wanted to kill a guy he literally just fucking killed the guy. Screwdriver to the eye. Bullet to the face. One of my favorite moments was when he showed up at Dexter's door and caught Dexter completely by surprise. Too bad that was his last episode though when he pussied out.
