It was terrible. The Mayor and Governor really dropped the ball there and should be held responsible for this tragic event.

There's no point blaming Nazis or White Nationalists. The majority of them are peaceful people. You can't hold them responsible for the actions of one individual, who probably wasn't even a real Nazi or White Nationalist anyway. He looked like he might have suffered from mental health issues.

Anyway, the important thing is NOT to disavow Nazis - It's exactly what they would want, and will drive moderate White Nationalists into their recruiters arms.

You have to play this smart, not give in to baseless fear and irrational anger and xenophobia.

He did call out the violence.

He didn't allow the violence - the Mayor of the city and the Governor of the state did when they allowed violent Communist terrorists to occupy the area and launch unprovoked violent attacks on innocent young men practicing their first amendment rights, and when they refused to clear the streets despite their being an official state of emergency in place and refusing to erect car barriers despite being required to.

Yes. Both sides.

The White Nationalists had a permit and a first amendment right to conduct their rally. They were violently attacked by communist terrorists. The white nationalists were ordered to leave the area. The majority immediately complied.

The Communist terrorists than violently attacked a car, and in the process of escaping them the car struck rioters, killing one.

Trump was being very, very generous condemning violence on "both sides" when only really one side, the communist terrorists, were the main perpetrators.

The rally was organized by a White Advocacy group that doesn't advocate for either Nazism or White Supremacy.
