how did /tv/ like baby driver?
I thought it was really strong in the beginning, but after a while, the characters and thus the movie fell apart for me. he seemed way too tough and careless towards the end especially seeing how sensitive he used to be and had remained though those clearly weren't his first confrontations with violence. his GF went from waitress to taking out criminals without any prior experience and without any transitioning. his boss also sacrificed himself where he realy shouldn't have. the only thing I really liked consistently was the relationship with his foster father. ultimately at the end I felt like I was watching an entirely different movie than what I started out with.

It should have been Jon Bernthal playing the bad guy.
Him being such a dick to Baby could have worked.
Just swap around some stuff to make it so Bernthal cracks and wants Baby dead.
Instead we get him for a quick heist and he's gone for the rest of the movie.
What a waste.

Opening Car chase with the scenes synching to Blues Explosion sold me on this movie. Sucks that the main character we're supposed to follow is pretty bland man with quirky trait. Hope Edgar Wright will do another heist film with a more interesting character
