All 3 are awful boring movies. They would be 5 minute subplots in a movie nowadays. Just awful garbage

JP (novel) - kino

JP (movie) - fair adaptation of book, 11/10 special effects

TLW (novel) - Spielberg's greed and Crichton being spineless leads to one of his worst works

TLW (movie) - shit. Score adds nothing new to JP, Spielberg butchers scenes from JP book he couldn't fit in original movie (i.e. Rexy and the waterfall)

JP3 - enjoyable shit, doesn't try to be anything but a fun Dino movie. And for this reason, it succeeds where TLW doesn't. TLW tried to be JP but with half the effort.

JW - JP3 basically, just tries to be fun Dino movie. Cringey reddit shit like Jimmy Fallon cameo, New girl nu-male, and half of Pratt's lines. But still enjoyable.

For all you fags saying that the movies need to be smarter, no they do not. That's what the book is for (read it if you haven't, can finish it in an afternoon) movies are for lowest common denominator. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but just realize what you're in for.
