Where do you get films these days?
Is there a decent streaming service out there? It doesn't look like I can get what I like (70s-90s horror, 40s-60s Hollywood, 2010's world cinema, 20s-30s expressionist).

Netflix has absolutely none of what I listed.

get a job, dvds are like four bucks on amazon

A movie compressed from the bluray down to 3GB will still look much better than shitty MPEG2 DVD's. And piracy is free, internet subscription aside.

I have a job, but I'm saving up for more important things. I don't want to blow £30 a week on films anymore. I did that for years when I was young and stupid like money.

Torrents, man

Where from specifically? Nothing I used to use seems active these days. Not with the kind of things I watch nowadays. I used to enjoy collecting Arrow Video and Masters of Cinema films, but haven't the money for either anymore.

That's like giving a Honda F6B motorcycle to someone trying to learn how to ride a bike.

Shudder is great for horror. That's all it is, it's basically just Netflix for horror films of all variety, old and new.
Netflix's selection for horror stuff always sucks. It's a million films from The Asylum and, like, two or three classics and a handful of foreign films.

That looks pretty good, if the selection is still a little small. Thanks. I'll probably give that a trail when I've got some time free then think over subbing.

I'm familiar with torrents, I just haven't done this sort of thing in 10 years. What I can remember doesn't exist any more. Private trackers never used to be so popular as I can remember either.
