The line of movies with Daniel Craig started out so well and had the perfect set up for a growing world and an overarching narrative with Casino Royale. Then the writers strike happened and botched Quantam of Solace and put it in preproduction hell with numerous rewrites. It took far to long for sequel to even get made. The hype from Casino had already died and it wasn't anywhere as good. Sky fall was good but you could see they had lost focus already and weren't going in the direction that Casino Royale had set up. Fucking travesty of what could of been an era of superb Bond films.
