Well, you are on an animated pickle critiquing board, so I don't know what else you were expecting.

I'm just saying, the older episodes had more well thought out bits, where the basic science was right, and you went along for the ride down the more crazy concepts. That's what makes good sci-fi, the fantastical elements are an extension of real principles. When they get that wrong, it takes you out of the whole experience.

That's basically what this subplot was, straight down to the Russian legend name (Solenya/Baba Yaga)

The Therapist subplot made me want to fucking kill myself (Shit Eating wasn't funny at all and since they barely drew attention to it it fell flat as fuck), but the actual Pickle Rick plot was a fun little action sci-fi. The animation was solid for the Rat Fight/Jaguar Shootout and they built up the stakes nice enough for something that takes less than 11 minutes to go through.

Unfortunately since the therapist subplot was so damn weak the emotional payoff was almost nonexistent. I could see that it was meant to be a character moment signifying the bond mending between Rick and Beth following the divorce but nothing made me care if they reconciled in the first place.
