The latest season fucked up since they banked on Trump not winning, though there are good new additons like PC Principal and Barbrady.

There is this scene in one of the last episodes of the season, it seems they realised the continuity was interesting for a while but shouldn't be this drastic.

FINALLY, someone I can agree with. I really dislike the recent seasons having an overarching theme/plot; and I'm tired of them satirizing whatever current thing is going on. Some of my favorite episodes had nothing to do with current events.

I agree 100%. What made South Park popular and great (beside the jokes) was the absurdity of the plots, Scuzzlebutt, Jakovasaurs, Mega Streisand, Killer fish, Underpants Gnomes, Mr Garrison trying to assassinate Kathy Lee Gifford, Starving Marvin, Towlie breaking into a top secret towel facility. Not shit tier PC Bro. I never once turned South Park on because I wanted them to resolve the season narrative. I strongly suspect Bill Hader ruined the show.
