>We need a squad to fight threats.. that were only created because we made the squad in the first place
How did anyone think this plot was good?
>character is a hypocrite
there you go, but I guess even that concept is too complex for people who unironically enjoy capeshit

more like
>We need a squad to combat threat now that superman is dead
>Oh look a threath
>deal with it
Wether the squad was formed or not Enchantress was a danger to humanity.
Putting her in a group with super villain is actually smart cuz if she goes rogue you have a bunch of people who ca nstop her.
But I aggree with you they shouldn't have went that way because normies are stupid

Sure, but it really did feel like the absence of writing, don't you think? Maybe they could have shown any reason at all for her to decide to do this out of nowhere.
They shouldn't have made her the first mission.
If they ad the squad do some smaller ones first, the whole movie would have been more believable.

Nah dude gotta get that skybeam in the first 20 mins
>everybody but the Fresh Prince and the Fire Cholo's powers were fucking useless
Here's a guy that, well, he throws boomerangs. Crikey! Heh heh.
And this guy, he, well see he climbs things with ropes. And... Well we can just kill him I guess.
This, uh... This chick's just got a pretty shitty gun, I guess. There's not much else to... Well she's, you know, she's quirky!

Hey come on now, every team needs a cheerleader.

>We need a squad that can handle ops no one else can. And if things go south we can just let them take the fall
A giant vortex made of lightning and shrapnel appears above Detroit that is cutting through aircraft carriers like they're butter
>Lulz, we'll just blame it on Harley Quinn. You know, the chick with the baseball bat
This whole thing was poorly thought out. This script felt first draft all over the place.
Will Smith's big one liner was
>Lady, you are evil.

Pic related was the Squad's first actual mission.
I think the script could have used an assload more polish, but making the Enchantress the villain and making her reliant on worship to increase her power, they hinted at not only what she is, but where she's from and what master she once served.

This is not necessarily a fault of the comic book characters per se, but how the writers and filmmakers chose to utilize them. I'll admit it is tough to write a movie around this many characters and give them enough development, but they didn't reall seem try with Suicide Squad. I suggest you watch Assault on Arkham to see what they could have possibly done had they done it right.
