Oh good, I've got a question I've been meaning to ask.

There's no such thing as a stupid question just like there is no such thing as a stupid theory. After all, most of our guesses about this show have not yet been confirmed. Instead of focusing on some of the deeper things in the show such as the multiple time line theory, the symbolism behind the hats, and the obvious creation mythos that's happening in the background, Ive been waiting for the show to explain something much more confusing. We have all seen the scenes that contain the "control room" where the workers and operators who run WestWorld are centered around a large circular table that contains WestWorld itself. We have seen that the operators have the ability to use both computers and touchscreens to interact with WestWorld, and that they are able to zoom in on the players so that they can see specifically what they are doing and adjust the game to improve their experience. While this provokes many questions and theories, Im wondering when we are going to get any hints as to the big one, how are they shrinking everyone down so that they can put them on this giant table? I think its safe to assume that its a reversible process because people like the security officer and others have been seen both in WestWorld and in the control room. Do you think they have a machine that shrinks them down? What would happen if someone in the control room fell on the table and crushed thousands of humans and robots by accident? These are the questions we need to be asking. I think there's a big potential that one of the robots develops artificial intelligence only to unshrink themselves, break into the control room, and then possibly kill one of the major characters by taking advantage their size difference. Thoughts?

Remember, Groundhog Day situations mean fucking ANYTHING has happened.

For all the series's problems it's probably the best television's been in the past twenty years or so, and personally, it's my favorite piece of TV, period. There was a real dedication to artistry and yeah, sometimes it gets up its own ass with it, but even that feels so sincere I have a difficult time finding fault here. One of the most important things about it was its use of talented, established actors. They didn't pull what literally every other TV show, even those on their own channel (COUGH GAME OF THRONES) seems to do an go for a bunch of scene-chewing nobodies solely for the chance to lock them into a contract. I think I was entranced by every single performance given, even if I didn't like the storylines or the writing they acted out.
