I can deal with most of the contestants. Hell even this guy was tolerable. He wasn't gonna go far, but tolerable nonetheless.

The ones that I hate are the kids that get an auto pass. "Oh, you sound kind of good, you're a superstar. Good think you're under the age of 9 and don't know how bad we will exploit you." Or, "Wow, you didn't shit yourself on stage doing that trick, congratulations!" But anyone over the age of puberty "Na, to generic of an act go fuck yourself."

I've seen every episode so far this season, but only the ones I like I really remember.
So far the best for me that I want to win are:
The sad clown, the roller blade dancers, the giant prop dancer-type people, a black comedian guy who kinda seems like Eddie Murphy, and that's about it, but there's still a few others I can't remember right now.

All I'm FUCKING angry about is that they got rid of a really amazing cab driver singer who was fantastic at opera. I almost quit the show.

He actually has a story and history of it. He's an old guy who was in a clown band, then the band split, and he kept singing and became the sad clown.
He's been doing this for years, and even has a popular youtube channel. It's not just a gimmick, it's an act.

The cynical answer is that it's a gimmick that makes him stand out more.

But the sad clown is kind of a classic character in art and fiction, and it really adds a lot to his stage presence. He'd be a great singer without the clown getup, but that's what helps make him a great act. That's how it works with everything. David Copperfield and Penn & Teller aren't the most famous magicians in the world because they're better at magic tricks than anyone else, it's because they're the most fun to watch.
