I was a huge Superman and Batman fan and I have sworn off capeshit because Marvel is complete trash ever since Captain America 2 and Snyder can't portray Superman other than an edgelord and a fucking criminal in the eyes of society rather than the purpose of his character which is hope. The five for Fighting song actually captures this perfectly and understands the character at a far deeper level than Snyder

The first movie I saw was MoS and I thought he had potential and could fix it in the next one. The I saw BvS and it was even worse and found out he's fucking 50 already, making those films even more embarrassing than I thought at first.
