I've read almost all of John Douglas' books. I'm not really sure how well they would translate without major changes. Mindhunter has a bit more of a narrative than the others, but a lot of the book is spent presenting the cases in a fairly clinical approach.

I'd imagine they're going to be adding a lot of superfluous subplots, but I'm still optimistic mainly because Fincher.

Also the Ed Kemper casting looks spot on.
