This franchise has a really good plot and you can't convince me otherwise
It's a nice concept if not for the ridiculous hoops of logic it jumps through especially post 4
I unironically watched Saw for the plot. And yeah, maybe to laugh at the idiot stuff people do in traps.

Okay?

This. I can't imagine anyone has problems with Saw.
Hopefully the new one drops "it turns out the guy from the last film is the new even more ruthless psychopath who has been planning this all along" shit. All it has to do is have Saw traps and the doll can be the face of a mysterious villain whose identity is just hinted at.
The actual story and writing is absoluteky awful.

One plot should span an entire franchise. Then, it becomes a gimmick.

**should not
>durr he's not a murderer he doesn't actually kill people in person with his own hands
Calling what the movies have a "plot" is stretching it a bit.
They do have a good premise, though.

You can make that case about John Kramer but it's a weak argument.
Hoffman is most definitely a murderer though.

You definitely can not. It's no different to dropping an anvil from above.

>if you put a bomb in someone's car you technically didn't do anything wrong because they're the ones who turned the ignition to detonate it
Yeah no

>missing the part where he said it's a weak argument
good job
>>85658605
We didn't miss it, we rejected the idea that it's an argument at all
>>85658605
It isn't weak, it literally is not an argument. It is nothing short of muder and literally can not be debated.

The twists are always great
