>monster/creature was in the character's mind
Anyone else fucking hate this? Monsters in fiction always represent something (fear, sexuality, the unconscious, etc.) But it's a work of fiction, the monster wasn't even real in the first place. You don't need to create an extra level of removal
Your opinions suck

Well I know what parts of the Internet you've been to.
>"Monster" represents racial prejudice and bigotry
I actually want to make a movie where the monster clearly represents the main character's mental state, and have everything scream "It's all in his head."
Even the ending will make it look like it was the MC. Hopefully people make theories on this and then if I ever get interviewed for the movie, I'll say that the monster actually was real and wasn't the MC's mental state

Wait are you using M as an example of the monster being the mind? If so, stop.

You don't watch a lot of horror movies, do you?

Am I the only person who likes monsters and magic in movies because it makes me wonder if that stuff could actually be real in real life?

No you are not

Yes I am. Care to explain how it isn't?
