I've been embarrassed and baffled by this behaviour since the first time people started hyping these after credit scenes (Iron Man 2). I was 16, and I was in the theatre, and I just remember people clapping and cheering when they saw Nic Fury and I felt sorry for them. These movies are 2 hour long toy commercials that people literally won't give a shit about 2 weeks after it's come out. Does anyone give a shit about the original Avengers anymore? Or the sequel? All this hype, just for 2 hours of CGI punching... Those people need to serious get another hobby if this is how excited they are for a heavily produced soulless blockbuster.
