Sometime ago, I was in LA in a movie theater watching La La Land. I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the movie. I walked out of the stall, washed my hands, and was getting ready to leave when all of a sudden I saw Ryan Gosling walk out of the stall right next to me!
I didn't want to be weird or anything but I said how cool it was to see him in person and how I loved his movies. He then reached out to shake my hand and said "Thanks, dude!"
I was trying to be polite, but I said "Aren't you going to wash your hands first?"
He winked and said "I don't have to." And then he grabbed my hand and shook it. As I was feeling kind of disgusted, he was about to walk out of the bathroom before pointing to the paper towels and said "may I?"
I didn't really know what he meant but I just nodded. Then he proceeded to stuff paper towels in his pockets, and left the bathroom.
