you actually got one part right, the PI is the best thing about the film, played by don johnson. he's the best actor in the film, and he saves most of it. it's actually incredible how much he saves it.

It seemed to me that director didn't know what kind of atmosphere he wanted to go for. It's obviously influenced by 80s and all the "retrowave" stuff, but at times it felt like your typical southern crime drama with redneck main characters.

At some moments it really gets awkward, for example:
