>japan still to get it
>china still to get it
Fucking China which is a guaranteed 100 million and Japan at least 20.

Worldwide is what matters. There's a chance it might not even pass ASM 2.
>>85584178
and reminder that its over 50 million cheaper than amazing spider-man 1 and 85 million cheaper than amazing spider-man 2
>>85584227
It's 25 million cheaper than ASM 2. But it had a massive marketing budget.

>Worldwide is what matters
And? Even without China and Japan (Who fucking loves Spider Man by the way) it's bound to cross $700 million at the rate it's going
>>85584280
ASM2 also had a big marketing budget. What are you talking about?

Except its not. In the markets it has opened in, Homecominh has done better than the last 2 Sony Spiderman movies.
The big reason why the international box office doesnt look good right now is because of no China. Amazing Spider-Man 2 did about $100 MILLION in China and depending on the exact date Homecoming is opening in China, it should easily surpass that.

It is rumored to debut on September 8.
Ant-Man for comparison premiered on October 15 and still made over 100 million http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=intl&id=antman.htm
Spidey will crack that easily.

>And? Even without China and Japan (Who fucking loves Spider Man by the way) it's bound to cross $700 million at the rate it's going
>sell merchandising rights to Marvel, lend out Spider-Man for 5 Marvel movies, and generally take it in the ass
>movie makes a little more than Amazing Spider-Man 2 (the worse performing and considered the worst).
Sony fucked up.

It should have hit 1 billion domestic in its opening weekend
Marvel is finished
>>85585017
>1 billion
You mean 1 trillion?
