Just finished Ozark on Netflix.
Thought it was pretty good. What did /tv/ think?
Agreed. Pretty good.
Daughter looks like some half human half cat fetish amalgamation bullshit, otherwise, pretty good, desu.
sell me on it
It's okay. But I find the characters to be a little implausible. I'm in episode 3, and it made me cringe when batemans daughter hits that dope. It's been distractive that the characters are paper thin. Why should I care what is happening to them? Anyone else feels this?
I like the plot and twists tho.

Think of breaking bad without 'yeah, bitch', crying and shitty characters.
The characters are consistent, well thought out and pretty deep. There is one 'flash back' episode to explain how it all began, and everyone in the show plays their part perfectly.
If that isn't enough, it has Peter Mullen as a Hillbilly.

> Daughter in super shitty situation at the height of puberty wouldn't punch a guy who threw her out of a fucking speedboat.
Niggga, you ever met a girl? they're emotional as all fuck.

The way she threw that punch was kind of silly. I've seen girls hitting people and it's almost always really awkward. And when Bateman said "Good hit!" That was pretty stupid too. I mean she just left in the middle of job interview to hit some guy in the face. They didn't even mention it.
