Okay so I never come here but I'm making a list of some movies I need to see from memory. I cant remember what the name of the movie is and cant find it online.
all i remember is a shot from above with one guy on a horse i think and just a river of blood running down the dirt street. i think its a western.
any ideas of what it is?
el topo. thats what it was.
What was that movie where the special agent guy is told told to fuck a foreign chick (russian I think) and his boss tells him "Don't think of it as cheating on your wife, think of it as fucking for your country"
El Topo for sure

it means "film" in a lot of different languages
>from the Norwegian, German, South Slavic (Serbo-Croatian, Slovene, Macedonian, Bulgarian) and the Russian spelling of cine for cinema
it's also a major international film distributor (Kino Lorber)
by these connotations /tv/ memes it as a cosmopolitan and high art way of saying "film", ie; i'm cultured i watch "kino" which morphs into using the word as part of a rating scale which goes through various synonyms for 'movie' in ascending order of how pretentious/cultured they sound, some variaton of:
(flick - joint - movie - film - cinema - kino )
but now the meme has evolved to using kino as a standalone adjective indicating quality film, often ironically, calling Steven Seagal movies "unadulterated kino" or "pure kino" which is funny because it is kind of absurd to address such low brow content with a pretentious foreign word.
