If the movie were more tongue-in-cheek then I could be excited, but it takes itself 100% seriously while Charlize Theron is beating the shit out of multiple ~190 lb dudes without receiving so much as a broken bone.

It's not great, the stylization falls flat and feels inauthentic. Product placement was disgusting.

What was thing RLM said about the Hollywood interpretation of a strong female character? That they gotta beat up a bunch goons, do stunts, blow shit up, shoot people and thats how they think they'll get over with the audience?

I didn't see the movie when it came out ten years ago and was called Ultraviolet and I won't see it now.

I'm going to watch a pirated copy solely to see Sofia Boutella getting fingered/groped/with her tongue hanging out.

Looking forward to it. Nothing beats a good action flick.
