McCauley plays as himself, the movie starts with McCauley eating breakfast alone, brushing his teeth then rubbing lotion on his face and then screaming into the mirror.

He tries to get back into the acting game and he goes to an audition were he meets Jake Lloyd, they are both auditioning for a comedic role in the new Edward Norton and Emma Stone movie.

Emma Stone turns out to be a huge Home Alone fan and is excited to meet McCauley, they both hit it up and start dating, everyone in Hollywood is shocked at this couple and Edward Norton tries to sabotage it and win Emma's heart.

McCauley and Jake bond seeing as they both have a similar history of being seen as has beens.
