I'm gonna be honest.

A lot of older movies age like shit, especially if you watch them on Blu-Ray.

The effects look bad, the choreography is weak unless it's from Asia and the sets look like fucking sets.

Only a few older films are timeless for me - The Thing comes to mind.

I re-watched Batman (1989) in HD for Nostalgia's sake because i hadn't seen it in over 15 years and everything just looked fake, completely took me out of it.
