I still love Cole. I also like Diane (partially because I like Laura Dern) but hope she does something other than be a sneaky traitor soon. Candie's also pretty great.

I've seen a theory that the woodsmen sort of give off an aura that makes them sort of obscure or whatever you want to call it. Think about the one when Cindy is talking on the phone. She looks back at him but then continues her conversation and basically ignores her. It could be the same with Diane where she's seeing him but because of this aura it just makes her not really that interested in what he's doing and she sort of forgets about it, only to legitimately remember part of it when Gordon brings it up later when they're talking.

Or you could think she did it because she's a traitor trying to sabotage the storyline anytime she can. I think the theory above kind of makes sense if you think about what else the woodsmen have done. Ray though was afraid of them but maybe they can control it.

I want to think that Diane isn't a bad guy even though she seems to be working with Dopplecoop.

It's almost like Lynch and Frost think in a meme-like way, or understand their logic and somehow implicitly cater to it.
