ITT: We post our favourite stand up comedians.
For me it is Brendan Schaub.
you can tell that moment he really came into his own and surpassed his teacher bryan callen
>>85422197
>>85422236
>surpassed his teacher bryan callen
Callen has never been a notewhorty stand up but seeing someone close to you surpass you that fast must fucking hurt.
The worst part of it all is that both are shit comedians but Schaub is slightly less shit.
>>85422197
first you invade /heem/ now you invade /tv/ away with you coral springs
Dave Attell is the best and truest comedian in the game
For me, it's women. They're funny, get over it.
Todd Barry gets me
>>85422197
Looks like that NFL nigga that murdered that nigga then hanged himself
>>85422575
kek I love that motherfucker what an autist
I respect that but me personally i'm more of a Bryan Callen kind of guy, he just makes me laugh so much, not to mention he's so worldly.
>>85422246
fuck off.
>>85422820
Brendel Schloob could shove his dick in Callen's mouth right now, for no reason
I hate how much hate Schaub gets. He`s a big goofy dude living his dreams let the man live.
I don`t often say this, but I really think it`s jealousy.
>>85424819
Why are you using the wrong '
>>85424868
Us Canadians get stuck with shitty bilingual keyboards and if we don't pay attention it switches us into faggot french mode
>>85425133
I'm sorry to hear that.
>>85422367
>surpass you that fast
95% podcast influence. If Callen started his standup career thanks to Joe Rogan pushing him on his podcast like Schaub, he'd be in the exact same position. Rogan constantly pushes his friends, and as a result, he's diluted the waters. Standup doesn't need a Brendan Schaub, or a Tony Hinchcliffe, or a Bert Kreischer, or most of Rogan's friends that are only famous thanks to nepotism.
Yes, I'm aware they had careers beforehand. What I'm saying is his podcast kept them relevant.
>mfw could heem every in this thread
>>85426888
suprised he hasn't heemed all his muscles in half with how he uses kettle bells
>>85426888
It doesn't matter how strong or gay you are...or gay.
>>85422197
Based Schaubposters
>>85426814
How many have you seen live? Hinchcliffe fucking murders rooms
Who's your favorite female fighter?
For me it's Joey Diaz, i just love his stories.
>>85427676
One of the worst stand up routines I've seen. This guy is as good a "comedian" as Hayden Christensen is an actor. Also his voice makes me want to kill myself.
>>85428741
lol try to be less jealous clown, fuck off.
>>85430314
Shitposting on /tv/ won't help your career Tony.
>>85428741
I feel like a lot of LA comedians have an air of pretentiousness and self-satisfaction about them. Not that New York comics can't be annoying, but I personally think a lot more comedians from NY/Boston are way funnier without coming across as smug cunts.
>>85430910
Yeah East Coast Comics are by far the funnier sub-group of comedians in the US. Look how much nobodies like Nick Mullen and Stavros Halkias are making with Cumtown and its just because theyre always on point.and funny.
>>85430314
Tony Hinchcliffe is a passive agressive limp wriste 'mo, my man.
>>85426888
How did he make it in the standup world? Is it because of the people he knows?
His set is Fucking woeful
The thin that always gets me is when a story or minor life experience is dug into with excruciating, maybe even poetic depth, and nobody does that like my boy Kyle Kinane.
Here he is talking about a strange fella he met on an airplane https://youtu.be/79nWcQXdpgs
>>85431171
That's in conversation though. I saw a bit of Nick's standup and roast battles, and it's not as good. Some people are just better in conversation than on stage.
Take Jim Norton, for example. He's great when he's got someone to work off of and riff with, and he's a wonderful when it comes to off the cuff reactions. Some of his funniest moments were on O&A when he was playing off Vos, Bobby Kelly, Colin Quinn, etc. His standup on the other hand, it just feels boring.
He got a bit too edgy and raunchy on his second netflix special and his delivery is pretty spotty at times but he has some of the best content. Easily one of the best storyteller comedians.
>>85431345
That's true for most of the guys though, everyone from O&A crowd was like that.
>>85427748
>battered, deep fried sushi
>nasty takeout lo mein
>discolored, poorly sliced salmon
>>85431345
It's really a shame, i always get bummed when i venture to Jim's stand up and it's so fucking underwhelming.

>Posting a dead gay football player.
enough
>>85431413
Man i wish i could like this guys act, everything about it makes sense for me to like but i just don't wonder why.
>>85422246
>>85422197
OH 100%
FOR SUUUUUUUUUURE
>>85428741
ha HA
american comedians think they are deep philosophers or something
hearing them talk about the "art" of comedy on podcasts then they get on stage and start shouting about dicks and farts
>Man we're so ahead of the rest of the world with our comedy
>>85432555
Based Dern triggering the fatfu/ck/s
>>85422246
I barely listen to Rogans show but hearing him explain to this guy for 2 hours how he had to stop fighting was so akward and tough
Why does joe talk about dicks so much
delicious dicks *sluuurp* know what I mean bro
>>85435499
us civilians can never truly understand the craft of making a few dozen drunks laugh at the Chuckle Hut in Toledo Ohio
>>85426888
Nice trips Joe. You are basically cheating since noone of your limbs are real anymore or stem cells enhanced
He's really awful on JRE. Just a fucking Chad with more cock than brains.
And garbage delivery as a comedian. I hope he bombs it's trash listening to him
